The day started very standardly. We met with the bride and her maids first thing. It was when I went to the groom that I realized something was a bit different about this wedding day. The groom and his men decided on a storyline for their getting-ready pictures. Of which I was commissioned to photograph. They all sat on the bed, not dressed, playing an intense game of Smash Bros on their Nintendo. The groom checks his watch, realizing they're late. They all rush to the closet, where all these perfectly grown men attempt to fight their way into the closet to grab their suits.
Needless to say, the groom and his friends are all theater majors.
After getting ready, we met at the Pilgrim Memorial Park for the first look and pictures. The first look gave us all the time we needed to get beautiful images.
The highlight of the photoshoot at the park was the bride and groom's request that we get a picture of them running from a dinosaur. A pretend dinosaur, mind you; that I would photoshop in later. See the before and after below.
