The pandemic of 2020 changed so much for so many people. The way we live our lives, business, education, and history was forever changed. The pandemic caused so much separation, but for Tarin and Ryan, it brought them together. In the midst of brokenness, these two found a way to not only start a relationship but make it work.
I shot their engagement session at Guevia Vineyard in Middletown, Ct, which happened to have been the place of their first date. I have a knack for choosing spots special to my couples. It was a beautiful time. I got the immediate sense that this couple was in love. They seem to forget I was there and they simply enjoyed each other's company. My favorite way to shoot. The images feel so natural; like a fairytale...lol
Their wedding day could not come too soon. This couple had surprises for their guests and me. When she first mentioned it to me, I had no idea what to expect. At their reception were living trees; trees that moved and served cocktails and other goodies. It was something I'd never encountered.
This wedding was barrels of fun and a pleasure to document.
